On this day in 1986 The Highwaymen album was certified Gold. The Highwaymen were a Who's Who of Country Legends which included Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson and Waylon Jennings. Also on this day in 1978 Ronnie Milsap hit #1 with "Almost Like A Song." Then on this day in 1979 Eddie Rabbitt began a 3-week run at the top spot with "Every Which Way But Loose."
