On this day (1/18) in 1986 Dan Seals hit the top of the charts with the Pop crossover "Bop." Before his success in the 80's and 90's on the country charts (10 #1's from 1980 to 1994), Dan was half of the 70's soft rock duo of England Dan & John Ford Coley (4 #1's 1976 from 1976 to 1979).
