It was on this day (2/9/1980) that the Oak Ridge Boys hit #1 on the Billboard Country Charts with the Rodney Crowell penned song "Leaving Louisiana in The Broad Daylight." Also in 1975 Willie Nelson recorded "Blue Eyes Cryin' In The Rain," and birthday wishes going out today to Travis Tritt who turns 46.
