The Year Begins Without Hank Williams

The year of 1953 began without one of the greatest influences on Country Music. January 1st, 1953 Hank Williams was pronounced dead in Oak Hill, West Virginia after passing away in the back of his car on the way to a show in Canton Ohio at the age of 21.

When you think of it, how many 21 year olds have ever made as big of an impact on a music genre not to mention so many artists 50 years later who cling to Hank as the single most influence in their music careers.
